Alma has still disappeared without a trace. Rotten starts a large search operation on the Muttstein, but the conditions on the mountain complicate the situation. Lucia firmly believes that her daughter is still alive, even if the chance of that is getting smaller with each passing hour. Then Lucia learns more about the mystical danger of the Muttstein from Aurelia. She finally realizes that she will not be able to save her daughter with purely rational thinking. Meanwhile, one of Alma's drawings arouses the interest of Inspector Prochaszka. It shows a bloody body, whereupon the investigator gets a picture of Lucia and Matti's house himself.
