Elena visits Mar, Aisha's only known contact, accompanied by a visibly deteriorated Zárate. Mar, addicted and in decline, is distraught to learn what happened; she cared for Aisha like her own daughter. Aurora and Aisha disappeared from the La Esperanza Centre at the same time. According to Mar, they're not the only ones who have vanished. This leads Elena and Zárate to visit the school, where they meet its director, Rocío Narváez, who explains that many girls run away from the centre just before turning 18 — as was the case with both of them. Meanwhile, Chesca and Orduño locate the warehouse where Aisha was tortured and killed, but find DNA traces from multiple other people.
