Used car dealer Barney Google tries to get his two cousins Snuffy Smith and Louise to trade in their old jalopy for an even worse automobile. Barney convinces Snuffy that George Washington crossed the Delaware in this car. Besides, Barney puts in a new rubber band for an engine. Barney tries to pull the wool over Snuffy's eyes in the fast deal. But Snuffy's new heap turns out to be a valuable antique. An eccentric car collector trades Snuffy's and Lousie's car for his limousine. The pair get the better deal, and poor Barney gets nothing.
