Disaster strikes when a pilot on approach to a new airfield crashes because the light of a closed lighthouse mysteriously comes on again, confusing the pilot. When the old lighthouse keeper returns to investigate, he is captured by an alien race who use the lighthouse's power to provide energy for their city. It takes the crew of Stingray to free the keeper and see to the survival of the city.
