Adam informs Crossroads Motel co-owner David that Meg’s financial affairs are in tatters and Hugh has left her in a money-less pit. He confirms that once Hugh’s estate is wrapped up things will look pretty bleak for the once well-off Meg. Joe MacDonald plans to get old flame Trina Jameson a job as a receptionist at the motel. Meg is left stunned when she is offered a deal to buy her shares in order to clear Hugh’s debts.
