François Allain takes on the fastest saloon of the sixties: the Maserati Quattroporte. His example dates from 1969, the last year of its production. Problem: it only ran for a year. Since then, it has been sleeping in the back of a garage. A cascade of work is to be expected: restarting and compressing the engine, removing and changing the radiator, faulty fuel pump, complete restoration of the brakes.
