The Pharisees and scribes revolt against Jesus. Herodias quarrels with Antipas and demands to speak with Salome. Caius says Deborah should leave. Annas comes to the temple yard and tells them all to leave, but it's late. Satan smiles with the moment. Caius and the other soldiers reveal themselves and attack the rebels. Deborah screams for James. Satan speaks in the ear of Annas, who despairs to see the massacre. Caiaphas opens with Judith and is tense. Salome questions Herodíade's attitude. Satan is amused by the discussion among the apostles.
