Toshi makes a deal deal with Goro. The loser of the Tomonoura/ Mifune East game will stop trying to get a scholarship to Kaidoh. Goro doesn't want to attend Kaidoh in the first place, but Toshi is determined to prove he's a better player, and an early homerun put Tomonoura up.
