The story follows two sisters, Snow White and Rose Red, who live with their mother in a cottage in the woods. One winter night, a bear seeks shelter at their home, and the sisters warmly welcome him. Over time, they grow fond of the bear, who visits frequently. One day, they encounter a dwarf who is in trouble, and they help him despite his ungrateful attitude. In the end, the dwarf's true nature is revealed, and the bear transforms into a prince who had been cursed by the dwarf. The curse is broken, and Snow White marries the prince, while Rose Red marries his brother, leading to a happy ending for everyone.
