Tommy Lee Jones was born on 15th September 1946 in San Saba, Texas. Whilst he is best known as an actor, Jones is also a director, producer and writer. He has won awards at the Oscars, Golden Globes, Emmy's and has also been nominated at the BAFTAs. Jones often portrays the classic tough guy and villainous roles in action films, as well as appears in police and military themed pictures.
