Behind the scenes at the UK's most remote hospital. In this episode, the latest crop of junior doctors have to put all their training and experience to the test. Dr Sam Ma has a chest pain mystery to solve when a ship's electrician is flown to Shetland for emergency treatment - but is it a heart condition or something else? Dr Lalla mentors Dr Sam Potter as she diagnoses a Lerwick man's skin complaints. She needs a steady hand and lots of confidence as she prepares to use her scalpel. And off-duty, a group of junior doctors and medical students take a trip to the island of Fetlar. With almost perpetual daylight, the medics are looking forward to a midnight swim.
