President Hamid Karzai arrives at Maimana and hits people in shock at the suicide bomber who carried out his action during the celebration of Id. He meets with claims that the Kabul authorities release terrorists for payment. Karzai responds by lifting up a little girl on the arm, telling the crowd that it is the growing children who are going to change Afghanistan, that through education and development they will get their revenge on the terrorists. 22-year-old Asmat believes that if war had led to development, Afghanistan would have been the world's most developed country.
