In 2016, the Indian Army is at a crossroads adopting EXOFRAMES into their regular army. They begin using them at the Karakoram Range Siachen glacier in a border dispute with Pakistan. When exchange officer Rei Miyajima from the Japan Self-Defense Forces comes to research high altitude warfare,they encounter a group of EXOFRAMES thought to be the Pakistani Army.
