The investigating judge Alice Nevers and Lieutenant Romance track down a serial killer who leaves on the body of his victims, women in their thirties unrelated to each other, a lady of heart on the back of which are mysterious messages. In order to better understand the killer, Alice enlists the services of Eva Camus, a profiler.
