Bill Murray's stint on Saturday Night Live won him both an Emmy and exposure. His celebrated deadpan comedic roles included Meatballs (1979), Caddyshack (1980), Ghostbusters (1984), Scrooged (1988), and Groundhog Day (1993). He began his long collaboration with director Wes Anderson in Rushmore and The Royal Tenenbaums and won a Golden Globe and BAFTA for Best Actor and critical acclaim in Sofia Coppola's Lost in Translation.
