Deirdre tells Dave she can't accept his offer of accommodation - she's not ready for that sort of relationship. Ken ventures into the Rovers. He tells Bet he's now a supply teacher and tells her about the Brewery buying No1. Ivy goes for the job but needs a reference. Mike refuses to give Ivy a reference because of the travel bags. Curly and Kim plan a romantic evening but Vera plays gooseberry and Mark takes Flick out.
