For the policeman Joseph Matula, the trial against the teenager Paul Schneider is a welcome change of his everyday service. Ontop of that has his testimony in court has some weight. After all, he was the one who had caught Paul some time ago, when he wanted to steal cars . He was the one who had to fight with him. Matula, however, is very surprised to see Paul's defender, the well-known lawyer Dr. Dieter Renz, takes him so in the shortage that he finally does not know exactly what has happened this evening and what is not. The result: Paul is released, but Matula decides to remember the name Renz. A little while later, Matula meets a young woman and falls in love with her. Laura is pretty, romantic and obviously lonely. Suddenly, however, Matula faces his adversary Paul Schneider and finds out that Laura is his sister. For a moment, Matula is irritated. Is there an evil game with him? But love for Laura wins over all concerns. It does not take long, however, because Matula is in the pinch. Paul and a couple of his friends were caught in a burglary.
