Yu Taek persuades Tae Gon to betray Il Hwan by telling him that the only reason he was caught as a corrupt prosecutor is because Il Hwan set him up. This was the final straw for Il Hwan and he hits Yu Taek in the head with a fake Goryeo celadon.
