Before the U20 starts, Chrono, Tokoha, and Shion have their own "send-off parties" with their respective teams. Jaime Flowers relax at a spa resort, the Fukuhara Vanguard Club has lunch on a cruise ship, and Striders engage in a curry-eating contest. At the end of the day, they are all treated to a fireworks show prepared by Shion.
