A 1920s loft with no closets, dangerous stairs, and dark colors, is brought back to life in this full-on make-over. New, cascading stairs are built across the loft with butcher block steps and traditional posts. The posts are filled with rope-like webbing adding a modern design touch to a vintage look. A closet is built upstairs and one expanded downstairs. The room is divided into three parts: office, dining space, and living space. To create even more space, the wall between the living room and kitchen is opened up and a butcher-block-topped bar created.
