By covering up the utilitarian linoleum floor with black and white striped flooring, demoing a wall to make the room more open, and enclosing the washer and dryer with a bar, the room becomes more inviting and spacious. Adding a window, bold wall paper, bright colors and lots of textures, the space is transformed from dark and dreary to hip and glamorous.
