The case of wealthy Utah doctor Martin MacNeill, who pressured his wife Michele to get a facelift, and drowned her in a bath during her recovery. The initial belief that she died accidentally meant MacNeill evaded justice for six years after the 2007 death. He was also found guilty of the theft of an adopted daughter's identity, which he used to try to clear the debts of his mistress
