In the collapse of the Void Junction, Làng Wū Yáo disappeared. Shāng Bù Huàn is devastated as he cannot face Mù Tiān Mìng, still waiting for them in Xī Yōu, without Làng Wū Yáo. But, remembering his promise to Bái Lián, Shāng reaffirms his decision to protect the Sorcerous Sword Index.

When Dān Fěi's petition to the Dōng Li imperial family for soldiers to support the Hù Yìn Shī is rejected, she decides on a bold new venture in hopes of finding the strength to save humanity.
