Thurston must get word to a Czech underground leader that his cover has been blown and, if he goes ahead with an important operation, his entire spy network will be captured. When the agent entrusted to warn the underground is discovered to be a double-agent, Thurston must impersonate the man to cross the border and spread the word.

In a small India or Nepal like nation, communists have sabotaged an American oil company's wells, and agitate with vicious propaganda about U.S. objectives there. Thurston is sent to protect their prince as he is about to deliver a speech urging an oil treaty with the United States, but his life is in danger.
