Unfortunate fate and murder bring the lives of Sakura and Haruto together.

Sakura (Saito Kyoko) is invited to dinner by Inaba (Ijima Sora), but she is troubled by her feelings for Haruto (Yagi Yusei). Meanwhile, Haruto becomes worried about Sakura who is heading to dinner with Inaba, and tries to secretly follow her to check on her, but is easily found out. Sakura asks him why he suspects Inaba, but he has no basis for his suspicion and is unable to answer. At that time, Haruto remembers Momoi Yuma (Asa Tatsumi), a forensic investigator who was attending Inaba's trial, and goes to see him. That night, Sakura receives a call from Momoi for some reason on her smartphone...

Haruto (Yagi Yusei) was afraid to start a relationship with Sakura (Saito Kyoko), but he couldn't stop thinking about her and ended up kissing her. But what was Sakura's reaction? Haruto (Yagi Yusei) finds out that Sakura's (Saito Kyoko) father was arrested as the arsonist in the fire that killed his parents. Meanwhile, Sakura, who felt that Ren (Kusakawa Takuya) was hiding something from her, hears about the incident involving Haruto's parents from Ren. She can't believe it and rereads the article about the arson incident that killed her own father. After that, Sakura and Haruto go on another date. There, Sakura says, "I have something to tell you."

Inaba (Ijima Sora) appears at Haruto's (Yagi Yusei) office and stabs him. As his consciousness becomes cloudy, Haruto recalls memories of a past fire. He also feels responsible for testifying that Sakura's (Saito Kyoko) father was the culprit... Meanwhile, Inaba, who is being interrogated, finally confesses everything. Soichiro (Watanabe Ikkei), who finds out that Inaba was the one who killed Sota (Ikeda Hioma), takes Inaba out without permission and heads to a certain location. Hearing this, Haruto and Sakura rush to the scene, but... Haruto and Sakura's first encounter was the worst possible one. Was this meeting really fate?
