Mission Atlantic begins with an early start and intense preparations. Joey quickly realizes how little 11 kg of luggage really amounts to, and the nerves start to rise. Mobile phones are collected, and the skippers stress the importance of health, safety, and fun. While Team Orange manages well, Team Blue struggles with seasickness. The race kicks off, and the challenge of the Atlantic becomes tangible.

Hardly into the open Atlantic does seasickness hit brutally. Marc and Knossi, in particular, reach their limits as Team Orange teeters on the verge of capsizing. During the first night, the jib tears, pills offer little relief, and puke buckets start filling up. While Team Blue patches things up and stabilizes, Team Orange grapples with power issues and sheer exhaustion. The pressing question is: Can they really carry on?

The Atlantic crossing turns into a fight for survival. Team Blue finds its rhythm, but Team Orange stumbles: batteries overheat, equipment fails, and food begins to spoil. Jens finds his rhythm, while Willis’s fishing experiments provide some much-needed entertainment. A birthday celebration lifts the spirits, and improved sail handling alongside sports exercises helps prevent stiffness. Team Orange stays on course and gears up for the next adventure.

Teams Orange and Blue face off with the Wingaker sail—a challenge that demands strength, coordination, and solid teamwork. Shift work, sleep deprivation, and rigorous maneuvers take their toll on the crew. A competitive challenge tests their skills and nerves, even as Team Blue gets distracted by ocean creatures. An unexpected sailing incident turns the race on its head. Yet, amid the conflicts and hardships, there are also plenty of humorous moments.

Half time! Orange and blue are only a few kilometres apart. But while the crews want to celebrate, Knossi is hit by seasickness. Orange struggles with a faulty watermaker, while Marc and Jens try in vain to catch a fish. Damage to boats and technical problems plague the crews. Clemens surprises them with oil cake, but the race continues. Who can withstand the pressure?

The endless ocean. Orange shows no fear and ventures into the water. Her lead in the race is comfortable, but will it stay that way? Back on board, routine returns, the sea remains unpredictable. Storm clouds are gathering and the teams hope that the storm will move on. Marc plans a surprise for Knossi, while ‘Full-Force-Willi’ fights with Angel.
