Cho Yi, a member of a cooking club named Cooking Club for Better Taste, has a perfect boyfriend who is kind and good looking. Cho Yi believes that her relationship with him would last forever unless she makes mistakes, and her boyfriend points out her every small mistake while he tries to escape whenever he's cornered.

Won Du has always regretted not having said that he liked Hye Jung, his ex-girlfriend, before they broke up. After breaking up with her boyfriend, Cho Yi gets sad and makes rice balls with spicy stir-fried pork in them to enjoy with the spicy chicken feet she orders. Meanwhile, Won Du also orders very mild chicken feet.

Won Du runs into Cho Yi but fails to ask her how to make the spicy sauce that he's always wanted to ask. Cho Yi and Dan go to a restaurant to have some steaks and bump into Dan's female friends. The cooking club members start to recruit new members to participate in school festival.

Cho Yi's mother visits her place and makes gimbap when she is away. Won Du finds a cockroach in the hallway of his apartment and escapes in Cho Yi's place. They eat gimbap together, and Cho Yi shows him the way to make failed dishes taste better. And Dan also visits Cho Yi's place.

Ja Du loves to stick to the given recipes when baking because she never fails by doing so. She who notices that Dan is in love with Cho Yi tries to set him up with her and tells him about her plan which she believes to be perfect. She runs out of sugar and makes a plum pie that's not sweet.

Cho Yi and Won Du make a plan to go grocery shopping together after class. But Dan calls Cho Yi that he's sick and he's all alone at his house. Cho Yi couldn't ignore him so she cancels the plan with Won Du and visits Dan. Dan also couldn't let Cho Yi be with Dan, so he heads to Dan's house. Dan and Won Du bicker over everything about Cho Yi.

All the members of the Cooking Club for Better Taste are gathered except for Won Du. After Ja Du and So Geum leave first, Dan and Cho Yi go to the movie theatre together. The two run into Won Du and Yu Jin. Cho Yi feels like Yu Jin is way prettier than herself and she starts to get nervous. So Cho Yi decides to go on a diet.

The Cooking Club for Better Taste is once again gathered for coq au vin. But So Geum brings Yu Jin to the club. Won Du and Dan leave to get some more wine. And Dan warns Won Du to be straightforward about his feelings and stop muddling. After their party is over, Yu Jin confesses her feelings to Won Du but he refuses. On the way back, Won Du sees Cho Yi waiting for him, drunk.

Cho Yi wakes up with a hangover and she doesn't remember what happened yesterday. After the class, Dan says he has something to tell her and he would come over to her house. While Won Du is on his way to get something for Cho Yi, Cho Yi sits at the table with Dan. Dan hands her his home-made side dishes and starts to talk.

Dan confesses his feelings for Cho Yi but she tells him that she has feelings for another person. They agree to stay as good friends. Cho Yi and Won Du finally meet each other and realize their feelings for each other.
