"Up" Poompat Iamsamang is an actor born in Bangkok, Thailand. He graduated with a bachelor's degree from the international programme in the Faculty of Communication Arts at Chulalongkorn where he was a "Chulakatakorn" drum major and an actor in campus theatre. In England, he got his master's in international relations and diplomacy. He plans to continue his doctorate in political science at Chula. Before entering the entertainment industry, Up was well known in the online world for his appearance on the "Chula Cute Boy" page peddling ice cream in the Ministry of finance Street Market. He went on to kick off his acting career with leading roles in music videos and a series of KA Thailand commercials starring opposite "First" Kanaphan Puitrakul. In 2015, Up played a starring role in the student film "The Gifted." The following year, he made his television debut in the reality show "Babel 250" (바벨250), filling in for Thanon, a regular member from Thailand. It wasn't until he took a starring role in the series "Lovely Writer" that Up's career skyrocketed to new heights.
