A cursed checkered doll that keeps returning no matter how many times it's disposed of is brought into Kamui's office. The doll challenges Kamui to take her on in the purification ritual. But there, she witnesses Kamui's unimaginable lifeforce and exorcism methods firsthand. While searching for a girl who's been spirited away, Shizuka is captured by the Gap Woman.
