Hope screams as Kurt fires at Stefano, but Stefano dodges the bullet and wrestles for the gun. Kurt grabs Hope, using her as a human shield. Stefano manages to shoot Kurt in the shoulder, allowing Hope to make a run for it.
Nicholas tries to discuss Vivian with Kate, but she refuses. He then informs Victor that Vivian has left town and appointed him in charge of her 49% of Titan. Victor is shocked and refuses to accept Nicholas's new authority. Meanwhile, Lucas questions a hurting Kate, trying to understand why she is so upset.
On the flight, the bomb explodes, but the plane remains intact. John realizes they are lost in darkness; Rolf has tampered with the compass, sending them far off course while Bart watches with concern. The pilot wakes up to assist, but the plane runs out of fuel and nosedives toward the ocean.
