Assistive Technologies (AT) are resources, equipment, products, and services that aim to promote autonomy, inclusion, and improved quality of life for people with disabilities, reduced mobility, or aging. They can range from simple devices, such as canes and magnifying glasses, to advanced systems, such as screen reading software, biomechanical prostheses, and motorized wheelchairs.
