Meanwhile, Kurisu attends the birthday party for Kozo's daughter, Yuriko. There, Kyoko tells him about the Sanno family's connection with horses. Royal Human's horse racing division is saved by Izanya, who won a maiden race, but both Izanya and Fight are subsequently injured. To achieve their dream of winning the Arima Kinen, Kozo and Kurisu begin searching for a new racehorse.
