A man is murdered with a purse in his head, followed by another body in a container, which triggers a complex investigation by UNIC. Gigi and her team uncover a human trafficking network and face betrayals and the reappearance of the Candidate. While they try to defuse a bomb in a survivor, Mendoza is revealed to be a corrupt agent. In a final twist, UNIC suffers an arson attack that leaves more questions than answers.
