Placentia, California. Solved, October 2010. In 2001, 20-year-old Lynsie Ekelund lives at home with her mother, Nancy. The two are incredibly close and Nancy is Lynsie's primary caregiver after a car accident left one side of Lynsie's body partially paralyzed. One night in 2001, unbeknownst to her mother, Lynsie plans to travel to Spring Break hot-spot San Diego for a night of clubbing with friends.
