In a scenery in which the plagues are not what they seem to be, a family is brutally killed in their home by a masked exterminator that uses lethal gas. Their bodies, disposed in a way to resemble a star and covered by cockroaches, mark the beginning of a macabre case. The detectives find similar crimes connected by missing fumigators and a masked attacker whose signature are the cockroaches. Faced by these distorted minds, the detectives question: Who is really the plague?
