The investigation of a series of ritualistic killings leads the UNIC detectives to dig up dark secrets relating to the parish. The crimes, meticulously planned, recreate the Stations of the Cross and culminate in the extraction of the victim's heart. While the detectives follow the leads, they find buried bodies in the church land and disturbing connections with the past. A young student survives an attack from the killer, but his luck changes drastically. In a final confrontation, the tension reaches its peak and leaves the community scarred by the violence and the secrets hidden behind the facade of faith.
