The police chief gathers José Inocêncio and his family to show them the investigation report and suggests that Egídio is innocent. Mariana tries to convince Damião to kill Egídio. Damião tells Eliana that Egídio killed Venâncio and Marçal. Mariana tells José Inocêncio that the war is over and that she did what was right for him.
