Consuelo and her grandchildren move into another hacienda. There, Tonio, the man who blackmailed Sandra and claimed to have seen her kill Joaquin, sneaks in. Esperanza starts asking Ligaya about her father. Danilo is now the employers' leader and introduces himself as Consuelo's grandson. A minor commotion ensues in Esperanza's community when the new owner of the land they're squatting comes.
