After winning a bloody battle, the Shironin Library finds itself in a predicament: one of the members of their reading room is taken hostage by a group of fanatics who want to seize the books at any cost. Vyazintsev Jr. is offered to become Librarian, but he no longer has confidence in his father's friends.
