Trijata tries to trick Sita into believing that Ravan has beheaded Ram. However, Sita finds out that Trijata is lying. Hanuman disguises himself as a sanyasi and appears before Ram and Lakshman. Later, he worries when Lakshman asks him about Sugriva.
