Kate's friend Janet is going to have her baby at home in the bush with her husband Murray. Unfortunately, Murray injures himself with an ax
and must leave to get aid. His boat breaks down and Kate spots him from the air. She flies him to the nurse and goes back to get Janet only to find her in labour. Kate delivers a baby girl.
