The Forresters throw a cocktail party to welcome Caroline to Los Angeles and to the company. When Amber arrives to the party, everyone is baffled as to who could have possibly invited her. Caroline divulges a bit of personal information about herself that emotionally impacts the other guests. The events of the evening wear heavily on Hope, causing her to have a panic attack.
