One of the reconstructions introduced by Michael Buerk in tonight's programme uses the actual recording of the lifesaving call the little boy made when his mother went into a coma.
Also featured is the original video made by the London Fire Brigade as they raced to free the driver of a 17-tonne juggernaut balanced on the edge of a bridge.
