The elves work their magic again, spreading fire throughout the town. Karoline mishears, so she shouts that there is a fire, causing the entire fire brigade to arrive and spray water. Everyone gets wet, but the mayor gives the blacksmith a medal. It has just been turned into a Christmas decoration by the elves. The next day, the mayor has to get up early, so Severinsen sleeps on the counter with a string around his finger.
