As the Cake Crown contest nears, Marie secretly enters Mehmet’s “Appeltaat,” unaware Heike fiercely defends her title. During the tasting, a mummified body is found in a grain silo. Marie suspects murder, and panic spreads when the flour for the cakes is revealed to come from that silo.
