Tom and Semir investigate an act of sabotage on a construction site that leads to a serious accident. Businessman Ludwig Solms suspects his disinherited brother Georg, who feels cheated out of his inheritance. But Ludwig is secretly being blackmailed by foreman Wohlfahrt, who is actually behind the attack. When Wohlfahrt dies in an explosion and Georg flees the scene, he seems to have been convicted. But Tom and Semir have doubts and continue digging to uncover the real truth.
