A medical student is found murdered in his home. As Kang-ho examines the crime scene, he recalls the cutter-knife serial murders of a decade ago, when the only suspect was eliminated and the case went cold. Meanwhile, Moo-young finds a link between the same case and another unsolved case, a series of murders in a secret room.
