An accident victim Teruyuki helped rescue disappears from hospital. Concerned about the man’s distressed state, he consults Ryoko, another emergency doctor, but is criticized for overstepping his role as a paramedic. Not long afterward, the victim of a suicide attempt is brought in and it turns out to be the same man.
