André Buys is in hospital for a hernia and kidney surgery, sharing a room with a common countryman. The principal doesn't even understand the temp staff rules but ends up assignig his class temporarily first to the janitor, then to apprentice Hubert Millar, a charming womanizer and bar regular. Nerd pupils inform Buys of Millar's academic incompetence and gross discrimination against boys.
