Even with Hyun Il's confession and a plea for forgiveness, Hyun Mok stands firm on his decision to see him leave Taesan University Hospital. After meeting with Hyun Il, Hyun Mok and Soo Yeon get into an accident and are both seriously injured. As he lay dying, Hyun Mok begs Professor Choi to save Soo Yeon's life once again.
